IAMA Clinic in Bam

After the devastating 2003 earthquake in Bam, which claimed the lives of more than 30,000 people, we saw it as our duty to contribute to the reconstruction efforts. With financial support raised by IAMA in the USA and donations collected in Germany under the leadership of Prof. Nedjabat, we were able to establish a clinic in Bam.

Rebuilding After the Devastating Earthquake

The city of Bam was almost completely destroyed. In parallel with the construction of the clinic, we actively participated in the rebuilding process, working alongside an architectural committee in Tehran as both architects and urban planners to support the city’s reconstruction.

Planning to the Highest Standards

The clinic and other reconstruction projects were designed and built according to European standards, with a strong emphasis on earthquake-resistant construction. To ensure the highest quality, we mentored engineers and organized workshops to introduce them to the latest construction methods and technologies.

This project represents not only the restoration of vital infrastructure but also a symbol of hope and commitment to rebuilding in a safe and sustainable way.
