Conversion of a former furniture store for PPO Pfeiffer Präzisionsoptik GmbH

We have realized a unique architectural project for PPO Pfeiffer Präzisionsoptik GmbH, a leading medium-sized company in the manufacture of high-precision optical components.

In the course of the company’s growth and the strategic merger with a long-established, listed Chinese partner, a former furniture store including storage space was converted into a large property in Kölschhausen. The new premises comprise a usable area of approx. 3,000 m² on a commercial site of 4,356 m² and offer ideal conditions for the production and exhibition of optical components.

Architectural concept

Our design combines industrial functionality with prestigious aesthetics and creates an innovative environment for the production of high-precision optical components. The new premises offer optimal conditions for the production of components that are used in the following areas, among others:
