Architecture in motion – a residential project inspired by the sea

This project is more than just a building – it is a tribute to the sea and its dynamic beauty. My design idea was to make the natural movement of the water an architectural experience: A wave that rises from the sea until it reaches its highest point on the 19 floors, creating 750 exclusive apartments (60 – 300 m2) with spacious sea view terraces.

An architectural concept that reflects nature

The entire project is based on the idea of capturing and reinforcing the natural character of the location. The curved line of the building symbolizes the ebb and flow of a wave. The organic shapes convey movement and harmony and lend the ensemble an unmistakable aesthetic.

The villas at the foot of the main building embody this idea in the form of shells shaped and left behind by the sea. Each villa is an architectural work of art that not only offers space, but also tells a story – of the originality of nature and the connection between water and man.

Challenges and creative solutions

The design and implementation of an “architectural wave” placed high demands on planning and construction:

  • Organic shapes: The façade was developed to reflect the flowing shape of the wave without compromising on functionality and stability.
  • Integration into the site: The transition from the solitary villas to the main structure is seamless and emphasizes the naturalness of the design language.
  • Sustainability: High-quality, sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems ensure environmentally conscious living in harmony with nature.

An experience space instead of a housing project

This architecture invites you to be inspired by the energy and tranquillity of the water. Every detail – from the generous glass fronts that open up views of the sea to the flowing room concepts – is designed to maximize living quality. The curved silhouette of the building not only reflects the dynamism of the surroundings, but also creates an unmistakable identity.

A project that combines vision and reality

This island project shows that architecture can be more than pure function. It can merge nature and design and create emotional spaces that tell stories. My aim was to create a “living sculpture” in which the character of the water is reflected in every corner – and that is exactly what has been achieved here.
